A Hidden Gem in Rome—Exceptional Comfort and Standout Service! Don’t let the hard-to-find doorway fool you! The entrance can be a bit tricky to spot, but keep an eye out for... leer mas the big gates marked "ROOM," or simply walk through the restaurant "ENOTICO" during business hours. I initially booked this hotel purely for its proximity to Termini Station. Given the very reasonable rate, I was expecting to make a few compromises. To my delight, I couldn't have been more wrong. The room was incredibly comfortable, easily rivaling places that charge twice as much. Traveling solo, the room size was spot-on, and the air conditioning was fantastic—a absolute necessity in the Roman summer heat! What truly made my stay unforgettable, though, was Mirela at the front desk. She goes far above and beyond her role. I arrived at 10:00 AM completely exhausted after an overnight train ride. Rome was scorching at 38°C, and I was far too drained to wander around. Hearing that standard check-in wasn't until 3:00 PM felt daunting, but Mirela saved the day. She recommended a great local spot where I could relax, and within an hour, she managed to expedite a room for me. Being able to take a hot shower and recharge for a few hours completely turned my day around. It really showed how deeply she cares about her guests. I would not hesitate to stay at Room Santa Maria Maggiore again. It’s definitely going to be my go-to choice every time I’m in Rome!

Room was great, location was superb. Service however lost a star due to a receptionist named Mirela. She was unaccommodating, rude, and made snarky comments throughout my stay. Respectfully, this... leer mas is not what I expected from a receptionist. However, another receptionist named Alexis, compensated for her poor service with his great service. I will leave all positive reviews to him.

Great experience for a single room for few days. Mirela was great and very friendly, and all the other staff were great. The room was nice and clean. They have... leer mas daily cleaning as well. They have all facilities needed to stay in a hotel. The location is great close to the main train station, there is some noise and good to be careful in the neighbourhood.

A great hotel right in the center, near Termini. Perfect for exploring the city. The room was very clean and spacious. The air conditioning was excellent and provided welcome relief in the... leer mas heat. Ms. Mirella at the reception was very helpful with a number of things. She was friendly and obliging, showing us the most interesting places to visit on a map. An added bonus is the hotel's luggage storage area, which includes a restroom and space to change clothes, even after checking out in the morning. We will likely stay there again.
